• Ahoy, matey! I have been working with the Behavior team at OHS and I'm looking for a special home. It will take time and patience to get to know me. Meet and greets are subject to staff availability and you'll need to meet with me multiple times before taking me home.
• To learn more about my specific needs, please read my What to Expect handout.
• I love to learn! You can use my favorite toys or treats as positive reinforcement and to teach me new things. I already know how to sit, leave it, walk on leash, and am crate trained!
• It can take me some time to warm up, but once I do, I really enjoy the company of my human friends. Playing fetch and crawling into laps.
• Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.
• I am used to living an active lifestyle! I would love to get up and go adventure with you. Walks, hikes, and beach trips all sounds like a great time!

The type of home I'm looking for:

• I need to go to a home without small children. Unpredictable fast movements and loud noises are starling. Teenagers would be fun!
• I need to be the only dog in the home. I'm not yet comfortable living with other dogs.
• I need a home without cats or other small animals.
